Analytics Documentation
Learn how to connect your website, install JDTechSpace Analytics and understand visitors, sessions, campaigns, events and ecommerce performance from one analytics platform.
Start tracking your website
Create an account, add your website, install the tracking script and verify that data is arriving.
Quick Setup
Get your first website connected in a few steps.
Create your Analytics account
Register for a JDTechSpace Analytics account using your name, email address and password.
Add your website
Open the Websites section and create an Analytics property for the website you want to measure.
Copy your Site ID
Each website receives a unique Site ID. The Site ID connects tracking requests to the correct Analytics property.
Install the tracking script
Add the JDTechSpace Analytics script to your website. The exact installation method depends on your platform.
Verify your data
Visit your website and check the Analytics dashboard. Once requests are received, visitor and session data will begin appearing.
Install Tracking
Add the Analytics tracking layer to your website.
Every website connected to JDTechSpace Analytics has a unique Site ID. The tracking script sends analytics information to JDTechSpace using that Site ID.
<script
src="https://jdtechspace.com/assets/js/analytics.js"
data-site-id="YOUR_SITE_ID">
</script>
You can find the Site ID by opening Websites in your Analytics account and selecting the website you want to configure.
Do not add the same Analytics script multiple times to the same page. Duplicate installations can result in duplicate analytics events.
Verify Tracking
Confirm that your website is sending data correctly.
Open your website
Open the website where the Analytics script has been installed.
Browse a few pages
Navigate between pages to generate page views and session activity.
Open your Analytics dashboard
Check Visitors, Sessions, Page Views and Live Users where available.
Check your Site status
Your website should show as active when tracking is enabled for the property.
If nothing appears, review the troubleshooting section below and verify your Site ID and script installation.
Dashboard
Understand the main metrics available in Analytics.
Visitors
Unique visitors identified by the Analytics visitor identifier during the selected period.
Sessions
Website sessions representing visits generated by visitors during the selected period.
Page Views
Measures pages viewed by visitors across their website sessions.
Events
Records meaningful visitor interactions such as clicks, forms, scrolling and ecommerce events.
Visitors & Sessions
Understand how people interact with your website.
A visitor represents a unique Analytics visitor identifier observed by the tracking system.
A session groups activity associated with a website visit, allowing page views, events, campaign information and purchases to be analyzed in context.
UTM Tracking
Measure where campaign traffic is coming from.
JDTechSpace Analytics can read UTM parameters from campaign URLs and associate them with the visitor session.
| Parameter | Purpose | Example |

| utm_source | Identifies the traffic source. | |
| utm_medium | Identifies the marketing medium. | paid_social |
| utm_campaign | Identifies the campaign. | summer_sale |
| utm_term | Can identify a keyword or targeting term. | leggings |
| utm_content | Helps differentiate creatives or links. | video_a |
https://example.com/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=paid_social&utm_campaign=summer_sale
Traffic Sources
Understand which sources generate website activity.
Direct
Traffic where no usable referrer information is available.
Referral
Traffic arriving from another website or identifiable referring page.
UTM Sources
Campaign traffic can be grouped using UTM source, medium and campaign parameters.
Campaign Performance
Ecommerce-enabled properties can connect campaign sessions with recorded purchase events.
Location Tracking
Understand the geographic distribution of traffic.
JDTechSpace Analytics can associate visitor sessions with geographic information such as country, region and city where available. Latitude and longitude may also be available for map-based visualization.
Geographic information depends on the network and location lookup information available for the visitor.
Event Tracking
Events represent meaningful actions performed by visitors.
| Event | Purpose | Typical Use |
|---|---|---|
| page_view | Records a page being viewed. | Website traffic analysis. |
| click | Records important interface interactions. | Button and link engagement. |

purchase
Records a completed purchase and can contain purchase value and product-level information.
The Ecommerce section can use recorded product views, cart events, checkout events and purchase events to analyze customer progression through the buying journey.
JDTechSpace Analytics does not automatically know advertising spend. ROAS, CPA and other advertising efficiency metrics require reliable ad-spend data to be available separately.
Shopify
Connect Shopify ecommerce activity with JDTechSpace Analytics.
Shopify Analytics Setup
Follow the dedicated Shopify documentation for installation instructions and ecommerce event configuration.
Open Shopify Setup
WooCommerce
WordPress and WooCommerce integration.
The core Analytics platform can support website tracking, while a dedicated WooCommerce installation workflow can be provided when the integration is released.
Custom Websites
HTML, PHP, Laravel, React and other custom websites.
Custom websites can use the Analytics tracking script directly. Platform-specific ecommerce implementation may require additional event configuration.
Website Management
Control how Analytics tracks each website.
Activate Tracking
An active website property can continue receiving Analytics tracking requests from its installed tracking script.
Deactivate Tracking
Deactivating a website can be used when you temporarily want to stop tracking that property.
Site ID
Every website has its own Site ID. Always use the Site ID belonging to the correct website.
Delete Website
Website deletion should be treated as a permanent management action. Verify the property before deleting it.
Removing a website should not be treated as a routine way to disable tracking. Use deactivate when you only need to temporarily stop tracking.
Privacy & Data
Understand what Analytics data represents.
Visitor Identifier
Analytics uses a visitor identifier to distinguish visitor activity for measurement purposes.
Session Data
Sessions provide context for page views, events, UTM information and ecommerce activity.
Geographic Data
Location information may be available depending on the visitor network and lookup information.
Form Data
Analytics event tracking should focus on event metadata rather than collecting sensitive form field values.
Avoid placing passwords, payment card information, authentication credentials or other sensitive personal information into Analytics event payloads.
Troubleshooting
Common problems when Analytics data is missing.
Tracking is not showing any visitors
Verify that the Analytics script exists on the website, that the Site ID is correct and that the website property is active. Then open the website and generate fresh traffic.
The Site ID is incorrect
Open the website property in Analytics and copy the Site ID shown there. Replace the existing data-site-id value with the correct identifier.
UTM campaign information is missing
Check that the visitor entered the website through a URL containing the expected UTM parameters and that the parameters are correctly named.
Ecommerce purchases are not appearing
Verify that the purchase event is actually being generated and that its event data contains the expected purchase value and ecommerce information.
Location data is missing
Geographic information may not be available for every visitor. Check the visitor/session data and confirm that the location lookup process is returning information.
Events appear more than once
Check whether the Analytics tracking script has been installed more than once or whether the same event is being manually triggered in addition to automatic tracking.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common Analytics questions.
Is JDTechSpace Analytics free?
JDTechSpace Analytics is currently available as a free analytics tool. Your account can be used to create and track websites supported by the platform.
Can I track multiple websites?
Yes. Each website is created as a separate Analytics property with its own Site ID.
Do I need a different Site ID for every website?
Yes. Each Analytics website property has its own Site ID and the corresponding tracking installation should use that identifier.
Can I stop tracking temporarily?
Yes. Use the website management controls to deactivate the tracking property when you need to temporarily stop tracking.
Does Analytics automatically provide ROAS?
Ecommerce Analytics can report recorded purchase revenue, but ROAS requires advertising spend data. Revenue alone is not enough to calculate true ROAS.
Can I use UTM parameters with Meta Ads and Google Ads?
Yes. Campaign URLs can contain UTM parameters, allowing Analytics sessions to retain campaign source, medium and campaign information.
